ARM RECORDS is pleased to announce that singer/songwriter Keith Burrows is back with a new CD, “Heart in a Box”, just released in July, 2017. Keith was in the studio working for almost a year, and has been nominated for Grammy consideration for the 2017 Grammy process. It has already been well-received by industry professionals. Larry Batiste, musical director of the Grammys, comments, “This CD reminds me of when records were made based on artistry and songwriting.”

Bryan Allinsmith, Gin Blossoms-FOH, “Keith’s voice has a raw, earthy raspiness reminiscent of Joe Cocker and Tom Waits. His lyrics are fresh and completely original – not bowing to the stale formula of many main-stream country songs”. His unique writing style has attracted some world-class musical talent to perform with him on this album – Producer/musician Ira Walker (Eddie Money), who has been making albums since his 1984 Capitol Records days with Billy Satellite, played bass and drums. Pete Fenner, Keith Burrows’ right-hand man on guitar, added the foundation that allowed this project to really shine, and Sid Walker’s violin brought perfect depth and balance to his musical compositions. Other musicians on the project include on keyboards: Andre Fyling; the original Outlaws pianist, Terry Hough; on guitar, Charles Spikes (George Benson & Lenny Williams) and Terry Peterson (Triad); on B3 and guitar, Nashville legendary producer and musician, Phillip Wolfe.

“Once I started the album, I realized it was important to bring as many professional resources together as possible. My intimate studio space is conducive to singer/songwriter productions, which allows more attention to detail than larger spaces, and the Keith Burrows project was a perfect fit. The level of dedication and professionalism that was brought by each participant was a real source of gratification in and of itself, and to have the ultimate outcome of all this hard work be an album of such honesty and depth is a thing of beauty. The final touch was Anita Walls of Memphis, who mastered all the songs.” Ira Walker, ARM Records.
